Direct message the job poster from Valiant Finance
Valiant is an innovative, award-winning platform connecting Australian business owners with the finance they need to kick goals. With pioneering tech, a diverse lending panel, and a talented team, we've revolutionised the business lending game. We bring the human touch to finance, making it accessible to Aussie SMEs and streamlining the (traditionally tedious) application process. We work with over 80 leading lenders to wow our clients with a seamless experience, from their initial enquiry through to settling funds.
Our global Enterprise technology arm provides embedded finance experience and orchestration infrastructure to enterprise clients. We pride ourselves on building and delivering category-leading tech products across the US, Australia and the UK for top-tier global businesses. We have a strong growth agenda and are always looking for top talent to join the pursuit of our vision to "unleash the economic potential of every idea"
We're looking for an experienced client-facing Program Delivery Lead to join our Enterprise technology team and take ownership of our strategic client partnerships. In this hands-on role, you'll manage the complete lifecycle of enterprise client programs, from initial onboarding through ongoing optimisation and growth. You'll serve as the trusted advisor to executives while coordinating technical delivery, and driving measurable program outcomes that demonstrate clear ROI for our partners. This is an individual contributor position where your direct impact shapes both client success and our product evolution.
About the Role
In this hands-on, individual contributor role, you will own the complete lifecycle of client programs utilising our embedded finance platform and services, serving as the primary relationship manager and delivery lead for our strategic enterprise partnerships. You'll be responsible for seamless client onboarding, product configuration, ongoing support, and driving measurable business outcomes that demonstrate clear ROI for our partners.
As the trusted advisor to executives and senior stakeholders across our client organisations, you'll navigate complex, multi-party implementations while maintaining our reputation for execution excellence. Your deep understanding of both our technology capabilities and client business models will enable you to configure solutions, coordinate technical delivery, and proactively identify opportunities that drive program growth and commercial success.
Our programs are global, so you may be working with enterprises and stakeholders across the US, Europe, Australia etc. depending on the program portfolio. You'll thrive in our dynamic environment where initiative and direct execution are valued over hierarchy, and where your individual contributions directly shape both client success and our product evolution.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the B2B embedded finance industry globally in pursuit of our vision to "unleash the economic potential of every idea"
In addition to this, you will:
- Manage end-to-end client program delivery from initial onboarding through ongoing optimisation and configuring (no-code or low-code) our platform for client-specific requirements and established workflows
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders across client organisations, from technical teams to executive leadership
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery by working closely with our product, engineering, and data teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support
- Drive client adoption and satisfaction through proactive engagement, training, and continuous optimisation of the embedded finance experience
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing programs by analysing usage data, gathering client feedback, and proposing new use cases
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, translating client needs and market insights into actionable product roadmap recommendations
- Monitor and optimise program commercial performance by leveraging platform analytics and working with clients to maximize key business metrics
- Learn, iterate and enhance our program lifecycle approach to make each delivery better
What You'll Bring to Valiant
We are looking for a seasoned, self-directed client delivery professional with a proven track record of managing complex B2B programs and building lasting partnerships that drive mutual business success.
Client leadership and program delivery
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in B2B client-facing delivery roles such as management consulting, tech product and services implementation, or senior sales with product delivery experience (financial services background preferred)
- Proven track record of managing large, high-profile programs with demonstrated execution excellence in delivering complex, multi-party projects on time and within scope, using effective tools
- Individual contributor mentality with proven ability to take initiative and drive results independently in flat organisational structures without extensive oversight
- Experience navigating multi-stakeholder environments with ability to build consensus and drive decision-making across diverse internal and external teams
Product mindset and technical basics
- Experience with B2B technology or SaaS platforms including no-code / low-code product configuration and platform onboarding
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams including product managers, engineers, and data analysts, with sufficient technical foundations to influence outcomes
- Product-oriented problem-solving approach focused on identifying scalable solutions rather than one-off customised solutions
- Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to enhance productivity, client delivery, streamline configuration processes, and improve program efficiency
- Experience with financial services technology and understanding of embedded finance workflows, compliance requirements, and integration challenges (preferred)
Relationship management and commercial impact
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with ability to build trust-based relationships with executives and senior decision-makers
- Proven ability to drive client adoption and satisfaction through proactive engagement, strategic guidance, and demonstration of measurable commercial outcomes
- Commercial background or sales background with understanding of revenue models, customer success metrics, and growth strategies (preferred)
Communication and problem solving skills
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills with ability to represent the company brand professionally across all levels of client organisations
- Experience navigating complex client dynamics and resolving challenges in ambiguous, high-stakes environments with confidence and maturity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to approach challenges from first principles and develop creative solutions
- Proven ability to influence without authority across internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve optimal program outcomes
Customer empathy and growth intelligence
- Strong customer empathy with ability to discover and understand client pain points, feedback and needs, and synthesising to inform product development and sales pipeline strategies
- Able to identify and develop growth opportunities within existing client relationships in the natural course of program management
- Collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork with experience working closely with product, engineering, and commercial teams to drive shared objectives
- Embrace your need for work-life balance with our hybrid working model.
- Celebrate the joy of starting a family with 8 weeks of paid parental leave.
- Bring your furry friend to hang out in our brand new, dog-friendly office.
- Company-wide events designed to honour and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our exceptional team.
