Our beautiful, exceeding service, Nido Woodend, is looking for passionate Casual Educators to join our team. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and are passionate about delivering contemporary educational practices for our children, educators, and families.

ABOUT THE SERVICE:

  • Purpose built 82 place service that caters for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 4 rooms and 3 beautiful new outdoor yards
  • Weekly Bush Curriculum and fortnightly excursions to Bupa Aged Care for our 3 & 4yr olds
  • 15 min walk to local transport
  • Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation.

ABOUT YOU:
  • Hold a Certificate III or Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent (Essential)
  • Have flexible availability and be able to work on different days each week
  • Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs
  • In-depth experience working in a childcare service
  • Be confident in collaborating with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs and interests
  • Have strong communication and time-management skills
  • A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
