Job Description

Your Role

As the Project & Strategy Lead, you will ensure the successful delivery of key projects aligned with our Strategic Plan, embedding strong project and change management practices. You will also drive organisational change through clear communication and training, manage external partners to ensure high-quality outcomes, and work closely with operational teams to integrate project delivery and support organisation-wide impact.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Develop, implement and maintain Centacare's project management framework, ensuring consistent application across all projects.
  • Provide end to end oversight of all organisational projects, including management of project control and advisory groups, reporting and adherence to governance requirements.
  • Develop, lead and manage change management initiatives, ensuring all projects are supported with appropriate communication plans, training and stakeholder engagement.
  • Establish and monitor benefits realisation tracking, ensuring project outcomes are measures and reported against strategic goals.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with project delivery, ensuring appropriate mitigation measures are implemented.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring the following skills, qualities, and experience:

  • Qualifications in project management or change management.
  • Strong understanding of project management and governance frameworks and methodologies.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading organisational wide projects, integrating change management techniques.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and disciplines to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Familiarity with benefits realisation frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
  • Understanding of quality, risk and governance frameworks, and the ability to incorporate these principles into project planning, implementation and reporting.
  • Strong systems thinking and analytical skills, with the proven ability to develop sustainable solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and embed change management practices, particularly in environments where communication, training and stakeholder alignment are critical to project success.
