About the role

We are seeking a motivated and vibrant Food & Beverage Attendant to deliver authentic, attentive, and efficient service in the dynamic dining environment of Yamagen. The ideal candidate will have a team-first attitude, a passion for excellence, and the drive to succeed in this dynamic industry. This role is suitable for someone who embraces the opportunity to work for Australia's leading designer hotel brand.

Position overview

The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for anticipating and meeting the needs of the restaurant's guests, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience that reflects the energy of Yamagen.

Key responsibilities
  • Maintain knowledge of food and beverage product.
  • Anticipate and attend to guests' needs and desires promptly.
  • Maintain harmonious relationships with other members of the service team.
  • Acquire full knowledge of the hotel's F&B service policies and procedures.
  • Maintain superior levels of F&B service to guests.
  • Comply with hotel standards when producing and dispensing F&B products.
  • Participate in all rostered theoretical and on-the-job training sessions.
  • Comply with the hotel's operational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure areas are stocked to established par levels.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Know and follow the hotel's OH&S guidelines.
  • Adhere to cashiering policies and procedures.
  • Protect and maintain all operating equipment.
  • Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Assist other departments or outlets when required.
