Graduate Network Dev Engineer, DC Edge Fabric Engineering

Do you want to be part of a team that deploys and automates one of the world's largest and most complex networks? As a Network Engineer working within AWS Infrastructure, you will be responsible for deploying network infrastructure across our network fabrics that support the Amazon Retail Service, Kindle, Payments and multiple AWS services. You will work closely with our automation teams to define tools that allow us to scale at unprecedented volume. You'll have the opportunity to deploy, scale and automate our network across multiple global data centers, including existing footprints and greenfield locations. This role will commence in Q1 2026.
Responsibilities- Deploy network infrastructure across all network fabrics that support the Amazon Retail Service, Kindle, Payments and multiple AWS services.
- Scale the network across multiple global data centers.
- Create and improve simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase velocity and quality of delivery.
- Work closely with internal customers on designs/solutions, taking designs from concept to production.
- Create and update our network standards and ensure deployment to these standards.
- Collaborate with automation teams to define tools that enable scalable operations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Telecommunications or related program (graduating 2025).
- Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
- Experience scripting in languages such as Python, Perl or Shell.
- Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and RSVP.
- Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures.
- Ability to handle ambiguous or vaguely defined challenges and articulate technical solutions through abstract thinking.
