About This Opportunity

This position is linked to the Australian Composites Manufacturing CRC project 'Standardising in-Field Manufacture of Composite Repairs to Steel Structures'. In this project you will investigate the capabilities of PAUT and MAUT NDT techniques to characterise damage in composite repairs due to environmental degradation and mechanical loading. This research requires deep understanding of analytical and experimental ultrasonic NDT methods, demonstrated knowledge in advanced signal processing techniques and good understanding of emerging machine learning methodologies used in NDE.
