Who will you be working with?

This position reports to the Production Supervisor. The Trades Assistant is accountable for ensuring that all assembly, testing, and other activities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with all relevant company procedures and instructions.

Where is the position located?

This is a permanent Full-time position at Welshpool, WA.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Assist in the assembly and test all products in accordance with relevant drawings, instructions, quality requirements, and test specifications.
  • Disassembly of equipment and washing and cleaning of equipment.
  • Recommend rejection of components considered unsuitable for assembly.
  • Properly fill in and sign test result forms after testing.
  • Identify tested products with batch and serial numbers.
  • Report inaccuracies or problems in test specifications and drawings.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings.
  • Develop skills to promote professionalism and efficiency.
  • Assist warehouse personnel if required.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by your manager.
  • Commit to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
