Senior Medical and Allied Health Administrator

An exciting opportunity exists for a Medical Administrator at The Brainy Bunch Clinic in Norman Park, QLD.

Overview
  • Salary: $70-75k (pro-rata for part-time)

Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and visitors at reception, acting as the face of the practice
  • Answer all incoming calls and manage client bookings, emails, and referrals
  • Support medical and allied health practitioners with administrative tasks
  • Complete Medicare rebates and health fund claims
  • Maintain and operate clinical billing software
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements
  • Work collaboratively with a positive team culture
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a medical or allied health receptionist
  • Knowledge of Medicare, private health fund, and NDIS billing processes
  • Familiarity with practice management software (Xestro) and Microsoft Office
  • Current Blue Card and First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills
  • A warm and caring approach to patients across all age groups
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
