We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Hybrid Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Practice team, focusing on modernising and managing our hybrid cloud infrastructure. This hands-on role will see you working across our private cloud environment and Azure platforms, supporting mission-critical systems, and driving automation and transformation across our services. We offer deep technical expertise across a comprehensive range of services, including trusted private and public cloud solutions, end-user services, and business optimisation.

• Hybrid Cloud Operations: Maintain and optimise infrastructure across our private cloud (VMware) and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Data Centre Management: Support and manage x86-based infrastructure (e.g., Dell PowerEdge) across our Tier 1 Equinix-hosted data centres.
• Automation & Scripting: Automate routine operations and deployments using tools like PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible.
• System Reliability: Lead initiatives to improve system uptime, performance, and scalability.
  
• Tech Enablement: Support IT code releases, configuration migrations, and CI/CD pipelines for hosted environments.
• Knowledge Sharing: Document processes and contribute to cross-skilling across the wider technical team.

• Experienced in Infrastructure: Strong skills in VMware vSphere 7/8, x86 hardware (Dell), and SAN technologies (Cisco/Brocade).
• Cloud-Curious or Cloud-Savvy: Exposure to Microsoft Azure services (Azure AD, ARM templates, DevOps) with a desire to grow.
• OS Knowledge: Confident working in both Windows Server and RedHat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Automation-Oriented: Skilled in scripting or automation (e.g. PowerShell, JSON, YAML) to streamline ops tasks.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with backup solutions (Veeam, IBM Spectrum Protect), and networking (FortiGate, Arista).
• Collaborative & Curious: A strong communicator who thrives in a team environment, always seeking to learn and improve.
