SAP BTP CAP Developer - Senior Consultant

What will your typical day look like?

Key responsibilities include :

Designing and developing scalable CAP-based applications with backend integration to SAP S / 4HANA and SuccessFactors.Creating HDI container-based artefacts and optimised data models on HANA Cloud.Implementing and exposing OData services for frontend consumption.Building and maintaining Fiori / UI5 apps, including custom UI5 controls where needed.Integrating external systems and virtualised data sources into the CAP model.Data modelling in cloud environments.Delivering extensible applications that meet enterprise-grade performance and usability standards.

About the Team

Deloitte's Enterprise Application SAP practice helps clients solve complex business issues by combining process and industry knowledge with deep expertise in enabling technologies and packaged software and this team is expanding rapidly.

We are seeking talented SAP BTP CAP specialists to become a critical member of Deloitte's growing SAP practice. Theseroles will require you to work on client sites, supporting them throughout the whole project life cycle from Design to Go Live.

Outside of your client facing and advisory work, you will also play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Deloitte's SAP practice. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), CAP development, and modelling data on SAP HANA Cloud using HDI containers.

This role involves building views (including calculation views and CDS-style artefacts), integrating external data sources using Smart Data Integration (SDI) and Smart Data Access (SDA), and developing custom Fiori / UI5 components for enterprise-grade user interfaces.
