Overview

Join to apply for the Casual Tipper Drivers role at Illawarra Mercury.

Location: Port Kembla NSW or Appin NSW. Casual positions with 12-hour shifts (days and nights), commencing from early morning or late afternoon. Overtime available.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MC Tipper Trucks (A-Double) and safely deliver coal products to our local operations within the Wollongong and Illawarra region.
  • Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times.
  • Comply with coupling and uncoupling procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent Linfox in a professional manner.
  • Maintain good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation.
  • Ability to manage fatigue.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid MC license
  • Experience operating rear tipper trailers
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to commit to an ongoing roster that includes some weekend work
  • Proactive approach and cheerful outlook
