Overview

Wellbeing Assistant - Part-Time, Casey Aged Care, Narre Warren. Join the wellbeing team to help residents achieve their personal goals.

Responsibilities
  • Actively encouraging residents to participate in recreational & leisure experiences
  • Planning, implementing and evaluating programs and plans
  • Individual social engagement, emotional, spiritual & cultural support
  • Family & Community liaison
  • Community engagement & social justice projects
  • Individual social engagement & emotional support
  • Continually exploring new opportunities and programs to meet the needs of our residents
Qualifications
  • Certificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health
  • Experience in Aged Care (desirable)
  • Understanding of the differing cognitive, social, spiritual and cultural needs of residents
  • Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Standards and expected outcome
  • A compassionate, patient and proactive approach to working with older adults
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
  • Covid-19 Vaccinations (desirable)
