Position Overview

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Senior HR Advisor to provide practical support and expert advice across key HR areas, with a strong focus on Employee Relations and Learning & Development.

This role is key in supporting day-to-day HR activities, especially building positive employee relations and helping grow skills across the business. As a trusted partner to operational managers, you'll provide clear and straightforward guidance to ensure fair, consistent, and compliant people practices.

You'll also be involved in rolling out our new HRIS system, SuccessFactors, to improve learning and development processes and make things easier for everyone.

Some travel to operational sites (around 2–3 days a month) will be part of the role to keep strong connections with teams on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Advisory

·Prepare and manage employee documentation, including contracts, variations, addendums, and formal letters (warnings, probation reviews, etc.).

·Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with internal processes and audit requirements.

·Support the consistent application of HR policies and procedures across teams.

·Respond to employee queries and support managers on routine employee relations matters.

·Promote a culture of respect, fairness, and accountability across the organisation.

·Provide support in interpreting EBAs and relevant industrial instruments, where applicable. (Desirable)

Learning & Development

• Support the identification of training needs in collaboration with managers.
• Coordinate the annual training plan and track implementation via SuccessFactors.
• Maintain accurate training records and support the delivery of learning initiatives.
• Provide regular reporting and contribute to the improvement of development programs.

HR Support & Compliance

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and systems.
• Support internal audits and ensure HR documentation is complete and compliant.
• Generate regular reporting to support people-related decisions.

Recruitment Support

• Provide support in the recruitment of key roles in collaboration with managers.
• Liaise with external agencies and participate in interviews when required.
• Help ensure a positive candidate experience and consistency of hiring processes.

Skills and Qualifications

·Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in HR, preferably with a strong focus on employee relations and HR advisory.

·Good understanding of Australian employment legislation, the Fair Work Act, and HR compliance.

·Experience supporting learning and development initiatives and using HRIS systems (e.g. SuccessFactors).

·Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.

·Ability to work autonomously, maintain confidentiality, and manage sensitive information with discretion.

·Willingness to travel to operational sites (approx. 2–3 days per month).
