CrowdStrike is looking for highly motivated, self-driven Cyber Security analysts dedicated to making a difference in global security by protecting organizations against the most advanced attackers in the world. Our CrowdStrike virtual security operations center offers opportunities to expand your skill set through a wide variety of experiences, detecting and responding to incidents in real-time for our customers.
About The TeamFalcon Complete Team candidates are those who are proactive, eager to rapidly grow their skills, and interested in meaningful work that benefits customers. The role involves working with a global, follow-the-sun team and requires ability to collaborate with customers and lead where appropriate. Allocated shifts are 40 hours per week, Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday, with slightly longer days than a standard 5-day week.
What You'll Do- Exercise incident handling across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
- Perform basic malware analysis.
- Develop and improve processes for incident detection and countermeasures.
- Produce high-quality written and verbal communications for customer management.
- Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blogs, CrowdCasts, and other events.
- Manage internal programs or teams.
- 0 - 2 years of related experience.
- Ability to complete technical tasks without supervision.
- Desire to grow technical and soft skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Contributing thought leader in incident response.
- Positive work environment and attitude.
- Strong communication skills for audiences with varying technical levels.
- Incident handling experience: conducting or managing incident response for targeted threats.
- Computer forensics: familiarity with forensic tools in investigations.
- Systems administration knowledge for implementing countermeasures and remediation.
- Network forensics: knowledge of network protocols and analysis tools.
- Malware analysis: static and dynamic analysis.
- Incident remediation: understanding of targeted attacks and remediation planning.
- Network operations and secure architecture experience.
- Programming/scripting: experience in C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby, .NET.
- Based in Japan (remote within Japan considered); visa sponsorship not available.
- Business-level to native Japanese skills (writing included) to communicate with local customers; business-level English is a plus.
We seek candidates with strong technical expertise in security tools and platforms that integrate with our Next-gen SIEM. Experience with enterprise security technologies is welcome even if you have not worked as a security analyst before.
