About: Our client is a leading civil construction company specialising in earthworks, shoring & piling, remediation, asbestos and demolition projects. They pride themselves on their commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability. As they continue to grow, they are looking for dedicated and skilled labourers to join the team. Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Skilled Labourer to assist with various tasks on our construction sites in Wollongong. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil construction, particularly in similar projects to our clients. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards. Key Responsibilities Support remediation efforts, including site preparation and cleanup.Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met.Perform general site maintenance and clean-up duties as needed.Handle materials and equipment properly, ensuring they are maintained in good condition. Requirements: Previous experience in civil construction.Familiarity with earthworks, remediation processes, anchoring and demolition techniques. Basement experience is advantageous. Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Relevant certifications such as White Card.
