About the Role

Accountant | $80K - $100K + Super | Inner Brisbane

We're working with a well-established and highly respected business based in inner Brisbane, currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join their small, close-knit finance team.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for a broad range of accounting functions including:

  • Month-end reporting and general ledger reconciliations
  • BAS, PAYG and payroll tax preparation
  • Oversight of AP/AR and cashflow management
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Liaising with external accountants and auditors
  • Supporting process improvements and internal reporting initiatives

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in a hands-on accounting role
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles and compliance
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
