About the RoleThe role of the Quality Officer is to support the Governance Team in monitoring and enhancing quality processes, helping to ensure that our services are safe, effective, and aligned with regulatory and organisational requirements.
The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring our organisation maintains the highest standards of compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
Working closely with Governance Team members, this role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including lived experience advocates, operational teams, and senior leadership.
This is a full-time permanent position, working 38 hours per week between Monday to Friday, based at our Northbridge head office.
What we're looking forThe successful applicant will be required to meet the following criteria:
- Knowledge and understanding of risk, quality and governance principles and accreditation in a community services/health services setting
- Demonstrated organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise duties to effectively address operational needs and agreed outcomes
- Possession of excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to the achievement of the governance team's goals and objectives
- Experience in using computer software for the analysis and reporting of data, including spreadsheet and word processing (Microsoft Office 365 Suite)
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of diversity and social inclusion- including gender, sexuality, disability, cultural, age, and linguistic diversity and Aboriginal culture
- A salary aligned with Level 3 of the Ruah Enterprise Agreement (and the SCHADS Award), with salary range of $76,617 to $82,168.
