Electrical Supervisor, working on energy projects

Your new company

Working with a large-scale renewable energy company that delivers major infrastructure projects, with expertise in design, construction, and maintenance. They collaborate with clients across electricity utilities, infrastructure, and renewable energy developers.

Your new role

We are seeking a skilled Site Electrical Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for planning, leading, and managing project activities on-site to ensure objectives are met. A strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency is essential.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Knowledge of electrical and/or civil construction methodologies, especially in utility-scale renewables or substation construction.
  • Current trade or tertiary qualification in electrical engineering.
  • Experience supervising solar farms, BESS, or substations.
  • Ability to plan, monitor, and report on-site activities, manage resources, safety, environment, productivity, schedule, and quality.
  • Promote a safe working culture and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
  • Ensure contractors meet scope, quality, legislative, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure work activities comply with company policies and standards.
  • Identify, manage, and control project-related risks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with designers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. Manage client representatives on-site.
  • Lead work crews to achieve project outcomes. Provide estimates and develop construction methodologies.
