About the role:

Join our undergraduate Vacation Program to gain hands on industry experience in our dynamic and innovative organisation. These paid undergraduate positions are offered once a year for a 12-week placement over the summer holiday period (Nov Feb 2026), working 4 days per week. This year we have the below opportunities available:

Opportunity 12: Digital Metering

• Unitywater is embarking on rolling out Digital Metering to 80% of our customers over the next four years. As we acquire new data systems and Business Decision Automation platform, the project work will include testing and reporting on the development of the systems ahead of the rollout.
• Learn new system integration and testing, Big Data, AI and testing performance reporting.
• Open to: ICT, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science and AI students

Opportunity 13: Infrastructure & Security

• Gain a detailed understanding of supporting both IT and OT environments within a critical infrastructure organisation and practical hands-on experience in operational support.
• Support design and documentation predominantly focused on Networks / Infrastructure.
• Work collaboratively with vendor partners to understand and support daily operational activities. Support Asset Management lifecycles, Change Management and ITIL processes.
• Open to: ICT, Networks / Infrastructure students
• Location: Mango Hill or Maroochydore
