Responsibilities
  • Monitor Citrix Environment Health: Utilise tools such as Citrix Director, Citrix Analytics, ControlUp, SolarWinds, or PRTG to track system performance, including CPU, memory, disk usage, and session statistics.
  • Troubleshoot Citrix Issues: Diagnose and resolve user login problems, session slowness, and application crashes by analysing system logs and alerts.
  • Optimise Performance: Fine-tune Citrix policies, load balancing, and resource allocation; recommend infrastructure or configuration improvements to enhance system efficiency.
  • Support Capacity Planning: Monitor usage trends to forecast resource needs and assist in scaling the Citrix environment to meet growing demand.
  • Ensure Security and Compliance: Maintain secure access to virtual desktops and applications and monitor for unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
What You'll Bring To Make An Impact
  • Solid experience in complex Citrix Virtual Applications and Desktops (CVAD) environments as a System Administrator/Engineer.
  • Proficient experience with administering, configuring and monitoring complex multi-domain Citrix environments over a wide area network.
  • Professional experience with operational support, complimented with technical project involvement in this area.
  • Professional experience in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new Citrix based initiatives (Version Upgrades, Third-Party Solutions, and Integration with additional Enterprise Systems).
  • Knowledge of computer security procedures and protocols.
Requirements and Other Information
  • The majority of the team is based in Canberra; applicants from Melbourne may be considered.
  • Due to the nature of the role, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold an active NV-1 AGSVA security clearance.
