Full Stack Developer

The Role

We are looking for a Sydney-based Junior Full Stack Developer to join our Estate team, building innovative software solutions for wills, probate, and estate administration. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced developers to develop your skills while contributing to cutting-edge cloud-based platforms, integrating existing products into seamless workflows, and creating new tools tailored for legal professionals.

This role offers a supportive and collaborative environment where you'll gain hands-on experience, learn best practices, and grow as a developer while helping us re-shape the future of Estate Law in Australia.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to implement features and maintain full-stack software solutions
• Contribute to technical discussions and learn from senior team members
• Contribute to technical specifications, designs, and project schedules
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on requirements and deliver cohesive solutions
• Refactor and improve codebases for performance and maintainability
• Monitor system performance and respond to alerts under guidance from the team
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience with C#, TypeScript, React, and SQL
• Experience in or an eagerness to learn full-stack development, including both front-end and back-end frameworks and ecosystems
• Familiarity with software practices such as event-driven architecture, SOLID principles, and test-driven development.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills to solve complex technical issues
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• A collaborative mindset, with enthusiasm to participate in pair programming, code reviews, and team discussions
