About The Role
Join our dynamic Safety and Health Branch as a Workers' Compensation Officer and play a vital role in managing workers' compensation claims for business areas across the Department of Justice. This is your chance to ensure timely and accurate processing, provide essential advice, and assist with the recovery at work process in a collaborative and supportive environment. Eligibility
To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.

We Require You To Submit
- Provide a comprehensive Resume / Curriculum Vitae, that clearly outlines your transferable skills, experience and highlights your key achievements.
- A statement no more than two (2) pages addressing all the below.
Please provide examples to support your claims.
- Ability to apply compliance with legislation in relation to workers' compensation and provide advice to managers and employees to familiarise them with compensable matters, in the context of Strategic Alignment and Results Driven.
- Contributed to an improvement of a process or practices and supported the change, in the context of Workforce Capacity and Culture and Change Management.
- Maintain a good relationship with team members, in the context of Relationship Management.
- Contact details of two (2) work-related referees.

Pool Recruitment
This pool will be open for a period of 24 months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Permanent or fixed term, full time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
The Department of Justice uses recruitment pools to build a bank of talent for future opportunities. Applicants found suitable in this pool, may be considered for subsequent, similar vacancies, with the Department of Justice for the duration of the pool.
