Overview

Australian Christian College Victoria Ltd (ACC) is a non-denominational Christian Education organisation. ACC Casey campus is located at Skye (45 minutes south of Melbourne), a P-10, co-ed school with Secondary year groups added each year until P-12 is catered for. This full-time generalist teacher role is due to start Term 4 2025. The appointment is subject to satisfactory employment screening for identity, rights to work in Australia, and child protection in accordance with ACC policy. ACC is part of Christian Education Ministries (CEM), with 17 schools in 5 states, and is the largest non-government Distance Education provider in Australia.

Base pay range (provided by ACC): A$93,160.00/yr - A$128,902.00/yr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Core Responsibilities & Duties
  • Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study;
  • Have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students;
  • Demonstrate a commitment to improving professional practice through coaching and professional development;
  • Provide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards;
  • Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school and follow the school's child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures;
  • Act in accordance with the Child Safety Code of Conduct;
  • Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with policies, including the Four Critical Actions for Schools;
  • Ensure students\' views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives;
  • Model and promote the vision and values of the school;
  • Teach an area of the curriculum to primary levels;
  • Maintain records of class attendance and student progress;
  • Implement effective student management in line with the school\'s strategic plan;
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings as required;
  • Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer.
RequirementsQualifications

  • Registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
