Hyatt Hotel Canberra is Canberra\'s first hotel located in the heart of the capital. Our Heritage listed hotel interweaves the hidden mystique of the 1920s with modern Art Deco designs. With 252 rooms and suites, our hotel offers an escape within a heritage-inspired setting.

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join the heart of our operations - our housekeeping department on a Part-Time basis. The House person is a crucial role that aids the housekeeping team to ensure that standards of cleanliness are achieved.

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Ensure housekeeping pantries are consistently stocked with supplies
  • Empty dirty linen and trash from room attendant carts and take to the appropriate location
  • Check closets and clean as necessary
  • Respond to guest requests in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications

What we are looking for in a successful candidate:

  • Housekeeping experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 weekdays availability
  • Availability between 7am - 10pm
  • Clear and pleasant communications skills
  • Ability to work weekends and public holidays
