About the Role
Join the vibrant kitchen team at Harbour Rocks Hotel in The Rocks, where every dish tells a story We're looking for a talented Commis Chef to bring creativity, passion, and precision to our menu, creating an exceptional dining experience that delights our guests. This casual role offers a unique stage to showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic and rewarding environment. Your key responsibilities may include:

• Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes to the highest standard with careful attention to recipes and artful presentation.
• Ensure a clean, well-organized, and efficient kitchen, maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards.
• Be able to work effectively both as a part of a team and independent situations.
• Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver a dining experience that leaves a lasting impression on our guests.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• At least 1 year in a Commercial kitchen as Commis or similar role within a similar restaurant or hotel.
• Formal culinary training, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, showcasing your commitment to the craft.
• A true passion for high-quality, innovative dishes.
• A collaborative spirit, with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong multitasking abilities and efficiency, thriving in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
