Overview

Full-Time Secondary Religious Education Teacher – St John XXIII Catholic College, Stanhope Gardens. St John XXIII Catholic College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Religious Education Teacher to join our vibrant learning community. As a Religious Education teacher at St John XXIII, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the spiritual and academic growth of our students. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons that promote students' spiritual, intellectual, and moral development.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment with effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Use student assessment data to identify learning barriers and support academic improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider school community, promoting faith-based values.
  • Contribute to a transformative faith-based education that encourages students to live out Catholic values in their daily lives.

Qualifications
  • Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation (Working with Children Check clearance).
  • Eligible according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
  • Tertiary qualification (minimum 4-year degree or 75% complete).
  • Experience in supporting diverse learning needs is an advantage.
