What's the gig?
Our Aquatics team at WhiteWater World are searching for motivated, energetic and outgoing team players to join us on a Seasonal Casual basis.
The role of aLifeguardis to maintain the safe and efficient operation of the water park attractions and water slides whilst providing exceptional service to our guests. To set you up for success, we will provide you with accredited training to obtain your International Lifeguard Qualification.
As a Lifeguard, you are responsible for:
Ensuring a safe environment for our guests
Applying First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation - certification required prior to start date
Carrying out all tasks in accordance with standard policies and procedures
Provision of exceptional Guest Service
What do we need from you?
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure in an environment with high peak periods and varying workloads, while working as part of a cohesive team. Proven ability to swim 200 metres continuously and perform 2-minute tread without using your hands. A high level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual duties. Flexibility is crucial, as shifts will be scheduled on weekends and during peak school and public holiday periods. A positive attitude is a must
