Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
  • Be a friendly face & brighten someone's day and contribute to compassionate home-based care.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Live in or near Queanbeyan including surrounding suburbs (Barton, Burra, Crestwood, Fyshwick, Googong, Griffith, Jerrabomberra, Karabar, Kingston, Narrabundah).
  • Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (international licences or shared/rental vehicles not accepted).
  • Have 3+ months of paid Aged Care experience.
  • Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (weekends optional).
  • Commitment to paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start, with travel required for training.
  • Note: This is NOT a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home.
What this role offers
  • Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts
  • Permanent Contract hours: 30-40 hours per fortnight + flex up hours
  • Hourly Rate: 32.86 - 34.16 per hour + 12% super + 0.92/km allowance + paid travel time

  • Provide domestic assistance and personal care as outlined above.
  • Support clients with transportation needs and social engagement.
  • Contribute to a compassionate, positive home environment for clients.
