At BHP, we don't just offer jobs - we launch careers, with many of our senior executives starting out on our Graduate Program As a graduate with us, you'll embark on a 24-month journey designed to build your technical expertise, leadership skills, and industry experience through hands-on learning and structured development.
From day one, you'll be paired with a buddy to help you navigate your new role. What we are looking for
To be eligible for our program, you must have recently graduated within the last two years or be eligible for graduation by the end of 2026.
Your degree could be from one of the following (but not limited) to:
- Engineering: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Civil, Geotechnical, Metallurgy, Minerals Processing, Chemical, Construction, Mining, Environmental, Instrumentation Control and Automation.
- Science: Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental and Earth Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Spatial Science (surveying), and Geographical Information Systems.
- Health Science: Safety, Occupational Hygiene, Health, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Paramedical Science, and Nursing.
- Technology: Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Software Engineering, and Mathematics.
- Business: Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics Management, and Commerce.
To be successful, you should have a strong academic background, demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, be adaptable and flexible with a hunger to learn and embrace change. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a team.
