Key Accountabilities

• Concept to Completion: Lead store designs from concept to full fit-out construction documentation.
• Fixture Layouts: Develop fixture layouts for new TJX Australia stores, ensuring alignment with design principles and block plans.
• Fixture Profiling: Update existing designs in line with branding and store design principles.
• Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections to assess project viability and design requirements.
• Project Oversight: Ensure design and construction accuracy, addressing any design questions during the project.
  
  

Position Responsibilities

• Revit Families: Develop and modify medium-level Revit Families.
• Store Layouts: Create internal store layouts from concept to full fit-out documentation.
• Plan Approval: Coordinate the plans approval process with various business segments.
• Documentation: Update fit-out construction details, manuals, and Revit templates.
• Coordination: Work with external contractors on fit-out documentation.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects through different design stages.
• Fixture Layouts: Produce layouts meeting merchandise capacity and brand identity needs.
• Signage Plans: Amend signage plans to align with store design standards.
• Presentations: Present work in approval meetings, record changes, and provide amendments.
• Support: Provide approved plans to project managers and act as the main design contact.
  
  

Ideal Education / Qualifications / Competencies

• Minimum 3 years retail design experience
• Construction site experience and interior fit out site experience
• Experience and understanding of store design and management of drawing production
• appreciation of 3D modelling in Revit, AutoCAD or similar
• An understanding of the mechanics of shop fitting equipment
• Formal Qualification in Drafting/Design Architecture
• 2-3 Years experience in Retail Design and or Fit out Design
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit Projects and Families
• 3+ Years Revit Knowledge
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and SharePoint systems
