Ambulance Transport Attendant

Ambulance Transport Attendants based in Warrnambool and Hamilton provide care and professionalism to low-to-medium-acuity patients across NEPT services. National Patient Transport Group (NPT) is a leading provider of private Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT), operating 24/7. We are recruiting Ambulance Transport Attendants for Wangaratta, Benalla and Wodonga. The position will commence as casual with the potential to move into permanent positions. Successful applicants must have flexibility to work shift work including mornings, nights and weekends, and be willing to work between all three locations on occasion. NPT provides a comprehensive induction program and supports continuing professional development with our Registered Training Organisation NPT HEART.
Responsibilities- Primary care, clinical monitoring and patient care for low and medium acuity cases.
- Comply with clinical and operational policies and procedures as specified in patient transport regulations and protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Safe driving of patient transport vehicles in accordance with road laws across Victoria.
- Successful completion of Diploma or Bachelor of Paramedical Science, Bachelor Nursing or Diploma of Emergency Health Care.
- In addition to the Diploma or Bachelor Paramedicine, 400 on-road clinical hours are required to work as an ATA.
- Current Full Driver's licence and a good driving record.
- Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
- Ability to work professionally as part of a team with effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
