We are looking for an Electrical Checker to join our team. Reporting to the Principal E&I Designer, you will be required check drawings on a billion dollar gold expansion project from our project office located in the Perth CBD.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Checking drawings for compliance ensuring standards, specifications and procedures have been adhered to.
  2. Checking drawings for constructability.
  3. Manage workloads to ensure tasks are met, liaising with project team personnel where required to produce accurate design documentation.
  4. Maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality in the design documentation.

What You 'Can Do'

  1. 10+ years' experience in mining, mineral processing plant design.
  2. Previous E&I Checking experience.
  3. Ability to review and provide constructive feedback on vendor drawings and interdisciplinary design data.
  4. Solid understanding of statutory and industry regulations and HSE practices.
  5. Advanced knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices.
  6. Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively within a multi-discipline team environment.
  7. Proven ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  8. Strong problem-solving and planning skills.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
  10. Site experience during construction and commissioning desirable although not essential.
