The venue features an established function room overlooking South Bank beach and various event spaces, making it a versatile business seeking a dynamic leader to elevate it further.

Enjoying live music and DJs three days a week, along with rotating craft beers and cocktails while watching the sunset over the city, South Beach offers a unique working environment. We are looking for candidates with commitment, excellent people skills, attention to detail, leadership, teamwork, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Such candidates will be highly valued for future employment opportunities at Southbank Beer Garden.

Skills & Attributes
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • QLD RSA, RMLV, and approved managers license essential
  • Service and sales-focused with strong food and beverage knowledge
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to lead and coach a diverse team, fostering a positive team culture
  • Decisiveness and ownership of situations
  • Genuine interest in exceeding customer expectations
  • Experience with stock control, ordering, and processing invoices (desired)
  • Team rostering aligned with forecasting and budgeting
  • Monitoring wages, comps, and wastages
  • Maintaining high standards of venue presentation
  • Flexibility with working hours and rosters
