The Location

ESQ is located in the iconic Queen Victoria Building (QVB). It contains a world class wine list and an impressive and extensive cocktail concept. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing company and make your mark in a leadership role.

The role

We are looking for experienced and reliable Hosts/Hostesses to join our front of house team at Host. You will have current and recent experience working in a fine dining restaurant/bar and have a real passion for food innovation and delivering excellent customer experiences. This role will see you greeting guests, taking guests to their tables, addressing enquiries, taking payment etc.

To ensure your success in this role you will have:

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role
  • Strong food and wine knowledge
  • Fast place environment experience excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation
  • Flexible and able to work across a 7 day rotating roster
  • Current RSA
