Claims Support Officer - 10 Month Contract

Sydney - Inner Suburbs & CBD, Sydney - Outer Suburbs

We have multiple exciting opportunities for Claims Support Officers to join our team in Sydney. These are 10-month contract roles offering the chance to develop your career within a supportive, high-performing environment.

Position Overview
  • Job Title: Claims Support Officer
  • Location: 10 Shelley Street, Sydney 2000
  • Salary: $79,500 (inclusive of 12% superannuation)
  • Contract Dates: 1 October 2025 – 15 August 2026
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (office + work from home, post-probation)
  • Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
What you'll do
  • Manage insurance phone queues in line with contact centre targets.
  • Gather, validate, and follow up on claim details.
  • Refer matters to business partners and support complex escalations.
  • Assist with reviews, audits, and additional team tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve customer outcomes.
  • Contribute to learning, coaching, and continuous improvement activities.
What you'll bring
  • Qualifications in Administration, Business, Accounting, or Finance (advantageous).
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to resolve issues confidently and professionally over the phone.
  • Sound problem-solving and collaboration skills.
