Job Description

This role is within Australian Insurance Replacements, a procurement company. The team of customer service experts partners directly with major insurance providers to source like-for-like replacement vehicles when customers' cars are written off.

The Procurement Specialist manages the end-to-end vehicle replacement process, from initial enquiry to vehicle delivery, ensuring a smooth experience for all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Respond to customer and insurer enquiries via phone and email, providing clear and timely assistance during the claims process.
  • Manage insurance replacement claims on behalf of insurance providers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor and respond to a shared email inbox from customers, insurers, and dealerships.
  • Liaise with dealerships nationwide to source suitable vehicles and negotiate prices.
  • Assess and recommend appropriate like-for-like replacement vehicles, working with customers and insurers to meet policy requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of claim progress in internal systems.
  • Serve as a key contact between insurance providers, customers, and dealerships.
  • Act as a customer advocate, ensuring a smooth claims process.

Qualifications

We seek a strong communicator with a passion for helping people. You should enjoy multitasking, problem-solving, and making a positive impact. Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience in customer service, insurance, vehicle procurement, or similar fast-paced roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence with email systems, CRMs, or procurement software.
  • Empathy, patience, and professionalism, especially when challenges arise.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude.
  • A current driver's license and willingness to undergo a police check.
