  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

About The Job

Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Our products need to handle information at massive scale, and extend well beyond web search. Google's global network (GGN) infrastructure is already one of the largest in the world and it is growing very rapidly. Our team works on innovative technology in deploying and maintaining Google's worldwide network. This role will be part of the team based in Sydney.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software using production principles.
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Work with the cross functional team partners to understand their requirements and build the products to meet those requirements.
  • Design and implement software for automating operations of networking equipment.
