The Location

Located in the beautiful garden city of Toowoomba, Bolton Clarke's Westhaven provides high-quality aged care in a friendly, secure and comfortable residential environment.

The Job

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people's lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Laundering, pressing/ironing and folding items such as linen, towelling and residents' garments
  • Cleaning/kitchen cloths, mops and garments
  • Utilising washing, drying, extracting, pressing, folding or other industrial machines/equipment, as required
  • Collection and distribution of personal effects mistakenly sent to the laundry

To be successful you will have
  • Ideally your background will be in laundries or cleaning within aged care or hospitality
  • Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team
  • Availability to work various shifts across various days
  • Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
  • Complete a police check
  • Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
