El Jannah is a family-owned business known for its simple, soulful Lebanese-Australian food, with a rapidly expanding cult following. We are seeking a passionate, experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team during this exciting expansion phase.

Role Purpose

Work closely with the Store Manager to deliver high standards of service, food quality, and operational procedures. Maintain our standards across current and future stores, ensuring the team adheres to policies and provides exceptional customer experiences. Our team is like family, and we want you to help us achieve our business goals together.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations
  • Maintain a positive and welcoming environment
  • Ensure consistent customer experience and satisfaction
  • Motivate and drive the team
  • Support in exceeding KPIs and store profitability
  • Train and coach staff for ongoing improvement
  • Manage staff rosters and financial targets
  • Ensure food safety standards are maintained
  • Keep the store clean and well-maintained
  • Prioritize customer and staff safety, adhering to WHS standards
  • Manage stock levels effectively
Ideal Candidate
  • Natural leader with team nurturing qualities
  • Completed or willing to undertake a Food Safety Supervisor course
  • Previous management experience in hospitality
  • Passionate about good food and customer experience
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Excellent people management and conflict resolution skills
  • Approachable and positive personality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
