  Chisholm is seeking an experienced and student-focused VCE VM Numeracy and Work-Related Skills and VCE Psychology Teachers for our Senior Secondary team.

  About The Role
  
  As a teacher, VCE VM Numeracy and Work-Related Skills and VCE Psychology, Senior Secondary, your key responsibilities include:
  • Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners
  • Ensure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirements
  • Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning
  • Adapt learning and assessment materials to cater for different students, learning environments, facilities, and resources
  • Undertake a range of administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taught
  • Assist in relation to the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programs
  • Maintain a respectful, and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment.
    
    
  About You
  • You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills knowledge and experience teaching VCE VM (VCAL) Core Units – Literacy, Numeracy, Personal Development Skills or Work-Related Skills.
    
    
  Qualifications Required For The Role
  • Approved tertiary qualification in Education with a major in a VCE VM related discipline or disciplines
  • Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • Professional qualifications relevant to delivery of VCE VM core strands of study
  • A record of VCE VM Competency, mapped to VCE VM Core Units engaged to deliver
  • A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current VCE VM (VCAL) teaching knowledge
