Physiotherapist - Private Practice

Concord Sports Medicine is seeking a full time physiotherapist who is motivated and keen to work with a dynamic, experienced and supportive team of 4 full time physiotherapists and 2 massage therapists.

This is a fantastic opportunity to progress and enhance your clinical skills as you will learn and be mentored from highly experienced colleagues including APA titled sports physiotherapists. You will be working alongside other skilled physiotherapists who have honed their craft through their longevity in private practice. A significant amount of their experience has also been through the treatment of elite and recreational athletes from various sporting backgrounds in the practice and travelling as the team physiotherapist to state and international sporting events particularly in rugby, cricket and football.

The successful candidate will have strong foundations in clinical reasoning, manual therapy & exercise prescription and rehabilitation. As the position will involve some sports team coverage with a premier Sydney rugby club as well as treating athletes in the clinic from the recreational to the elite level it is preferable to have had some experience with teams and athletes.

• Registration with AHPRA
• Accredited degree in Physiotherapy
• SIRA registered for Worker's Compensation and Third Party Insurance
• Medicare registered
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Current working with children check

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Value the importance and being proficiently skilled with manual therapy, exercise prescription and rehabilitation
• Strong communication skills particularly to build rapport with clients and doctors
• Manage a varied caseload of sports injuries and other musculoskeletal conditions to both the general public as well as recreational and elite athletes
• Private Practice experience preferable
• Sports team coverage experience preferable
