Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Coordinator

Location: Chelsea Heights, VIC

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Quality Assurance Coordinator to lead our QA function at our Chelsea Heights location. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the implementation and ongoing compliance of our Quality Systems to ensure adherence to all relevant food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead GMP Compliance: Manage and ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across all sites, ensuring high standards are maintained.
  2. Complaint Management: Assist customer complaint investigations, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  3. Staff Training: Manage and train staff training programs and ensure accurate, up-to-date training documentation.
  4. Auditing: Assist internal and external audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
  5. Microbiological Program: Oversee the management of the microbiological sampling program to ensure product safety.
  6. Calibration Program: Manage the equipment calibration program to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Drive quality and process improvements to enhance compliance and product consistency.
  8. Traceability Program: Ensure full product traceability across the entire production and supply chain.
  9. Fishbowl ERP Management: Oversee the accurate use of Fishbowl ERP software for tracking production and quality processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Education: Tertiary qualification in Food Science or related discipline.
  2. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role within the food manufacturing industry.
  3. Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of SQF, CFMSR, and WSE standards is highly desirable.

  1. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  2. Excellent time management and decision-making abilities.
  3. High attention to detail in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
  4. Superior problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective solutions.
  5. High-level proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems (Fishbowl experience preferred).
