About the role – Installation Technician

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of the complete pedestrian business segment.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the role is responsible for:

  • Install and commission all equipment under the AAES BSP new equipment portfolio
  • Conduct inspection and installation in accordance with Australian AS5007 Appendix E
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork to an acceptable quality standard and within specified timelines
  • Liaise with customers in relation to the installation
  • Liaise with the project manager on any issues that may arise from sites or other works to ensure a timely resolution
  • Comply with Company and site inductions/checks (drug, alcohol, police and other required checks) and other WHS requirements at all times

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of maintenance processes
  • Geographic knowledge of city/state
  • Technical understanding of auto doors
  • Good digital competency and ability to use modern information technology systems
