Key responsibilities include:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a diverse range of duties including but not limited to the following:

• Manage and complete audit engagements across a portfolio of clients, including planning, performing and finalising.
• Plan audits, identify key audit matters, and implement effective strategies
• Identify and resolve audit issues, including adjustments and out-of-scope work
• Provide exceptional service to clients through relationship management and effective communication;
• Provide knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements and ensure compliance is maintained;
• Involvement in the accounting, taxation and subsequent financial reporting.
• Liaising with the ATO;
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the services provided by the firm

To be successful in your application and this role, you will need:

• Bachelor of Business / Commerce Degree with Accounting Major
• CPA or CA qualification (or looking to undertake one)
• Minimum 2+ years public practice or Audit experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Taxation Law;
• Comprehensive computer skills including knowledge of various accounting software;
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
