Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior Software Engineer. The incumbent will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, focusing on back-end development and ensuring the application's functionality, security, and performance. Day-to-day tasks include coding, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This is a hybrid role located in Melbourne, VIC, with some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Computer Science and Programming
  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant experience in IT security is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
