Responsibilities
  • Provide safe patient care as directed by the Nurse Manager according to the nursing care plan and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Midwife.
  • Perform key duties within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Maintain accurate health information and documentation for patients; communicate effectively with the team, patients and families.
Qualifications
  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated skill in Aged Care Nursing.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work; use a person-centred approach and adapt to change in care delivery.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible roster (day, evening and night shifts across all days of the week, including public holidays) as required by the unit/service.
