We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Registrar or Transitional Year Fellow to join a dynamic and supportive Department of Critical Care Medicine (DCCM). Role and Responsibilities

This senior ICU position offers a stimulating and rewarding clinical and educational experience. You will:

  • Be involved in the delivery of high-level intensive care services
  • Participate in a senior on-call roster (first on-call from home with consultant support)
  • Lead resuscitation efforts and manage critically unwell patients across a broad case mix
  • Supervise and support junior medical staff
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment that values collaboration and clinical excellence
Selection Criteria
  • General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Near completion or completion of CICM Fellowship examinations
  • Completed fellowship in another acute care specialty with significant ICU experience
  • Dual trainees in ICU or those fulfilling CICM Transitional Year (TY) Fellow requirements are strongly encouraged to apply

  • High-level communication and team collaboration skills
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure in a tertiary ICU setting
