I am pleased to be working with my client based in Tenterfield, NSW and am leading the search for a Full-time Diesel Mechanic.

Your Role

Trade qualified you will be joining our skilled Fleet team. This is a diverse and fast-paced role with a variety of work. This is a full-time local position which will see you performing field service repairs and maintenance on our extensive range of plant and equipment in Tenterfield.

  • Repair, servicing and maintenance of earthmoving plant, equipment, and light vehicles.
  • Implement and adhere to asset maintenance scheduling.
  • Travel between project sites and perform work in a field environment.
  • Carry out lockout and tag-out systems in accordance with legislative requirements and company policy.
  • Provide technical expertise to project teams and provide basic service training to plant operators where required.

To Succeed
  • Background in Heavy Plant, Mechanical and Electrical processes.
  • Clear understanding of excellence in customer service.
  • Proven management skills, practices, and planning ability.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities.
  • Highly effective skills in negotiating, evaluating, and administering contracts.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Computer literacy, particularly experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.

You will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42.75 – $50.51 per hour
