We are establishing a 24 month appointment pool for vacancies that may arise, to deliver training in the TAE 40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. We may offer permanent, fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.

We are currently seeking candidates with experience and expertise in Training and Assessment to plan, develop and deliver the TAE 40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

The lecturer's primary role is to teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements. Lecturers also undertake Professional Activities and Activities Related to Delivery. In order to maintain quality educational services, lecturers are required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field through professional development to provide up-to-date information and advice to the College and industry, where appropriate.

Relevant Qualification and Experience
To be eligible for employment you must hold qualifications in one of the following qualifications:

  • TAE50111/TAE50116/TAE50122 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or
  • TAE50211/TAE50216 - Diploma of Training Design and Development.

NM TAFE requires you to also have the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116, TAE40122 or TAE40110 and the additional skill sets referred to in Schedule 1, Item 2 of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015.

Other Conditions and Eligibility

If you are successful, during the life of the pool you may be offered appointment to similar & subsequent vacancies within the College, within other TAFE Colleges or across WA Government (subject to your permission being granted).

Eligibility for employment is subject to you obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance and, if this position involves contact with children, a Working with Children (WWC) Card.
