Employment: Permanent Role

Experience: 5+ years

Location: Sydney, Australia - Hybrid

Eligibility: Candidates must have the right to work in Australia (Citizen, PR, Valid Visa holders).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end data migration activities including analysis, design, transformation, and loading.
  • Develop and maintain ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica Cloud (IICS/IDMC) and PowerCenter, leveraging features like mapplets, joins, parameters, taskflows, and rule specifications.
  • Participate in workshops to gather data requirements and understand source and target system structures.
  • Build reusable and scalable Informatica components and assets.
  • Identify and report data quality issues and propose remediation strategies.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica IICS, IDMC, and PowerCenter.
  • Strong experience in data migration programs, including archiving and purging activities.
  • Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning for data transformation and validation.
  • Exposure to UNIX environments, including scripting and file transfer via SSH.
  • Experience with tools like BitBucket/GIT, Confluence, Teams, SharePoint, and Control-M.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/R methodologies, data quality, and RDBMS/DWH-BI concepts.
  • Previous experience in retail or business banking data and domain knowledge is highly preferred.
